Meet the Artist
Marina
Quick Facts: Marina has been living in Virginia for nearly 5 years with her 6-year-old son and husband. She loves to travel, drawing inspiration from new places, people, and their styles. She adores watching the red carpet and examining the hairstyles of celebrities. She also enjoys a cozy family evening at home, watching a family movie.
Beauty Background: Marina’s first hairstyles were created on dolls, then on her younger sister, and at 9 years old, she asked her mother to curl her hair with thermal rollers. In middle school, she braided her classmates’ hair, and in high school, she prepared girls for their first dates. At 16, she asked her mother to take her out of school and enroll her in beauty college, where she studied for two years, and started working at 18. Over 17 years, she can’t count all the brides she’s styled, but she knows she loves being part of their wedding day, creating beauty. The year 2024 was remarkable; she went to study for her license and joined the women’s team at MAB, who beautify every bride and their friends.
Favorite Hair Product: Texturizing spray and MoroccanOil hairspray.
Favorite Beauty Hack: Spraying MAC fix+ on a brush to apply shimmer to the lid.
