Yes! It is possible to make changes to the number of services after signing the contract, as long as you continue to meet our $820 minimum ($500 minimum between December and March months). We require to have two (2) months’ notice of the final services so that we can properly accommodate your requests. Last-minute requests will depend on our artists’ availability.
Unfortunately no. The trial fee is separate and cannot be applied towards the wedding day services minimum.
We can! Extensions are a great way to add volume and length to your hair. We recommend the EuroNext 18-inch Clip-In Extensions that are available at Sally’s Beauty Supply. You can go into the store and have them match you with the closest ones to your color. Price runs between $120 to $140. If you don’t want long extensions, but prefer to add volume to short hair, you can purchase the 14-inch extensions. We do not cut extensions but use them as is. We charge $25 to add extensions to your hair.

For 2021, we have an $820 minimum for advanced bookings April thru November and a $500 minimum for advanced bookings December thru March. The first step is to submit an inquiry with your wedding details and desired date(s). We will reach out to you within a few days with availability and pricing. To complete the booking, we require a minimum deposit of $250 or 30% of the total wedding day services, whichever is greater. We will also need a signed contract to officially book and solidify your date.
Our contracts and deposits are made via our booking software, Honeybook. Most of our clients reserve their date with a credit card.
We currently allow one year in advance booking for your wedding date.
For the bride, we reserve one hour for makeup and one hour for hair. For bridal party members, we reserve roughly 35 to 45 minutes for each service. Our artists typically arrive 15 minutes before the first appointment to set up. We prefer to keep the total time for bridal party hair and makeup to be about 5 hours or less. Bridal parties needing more than eight services usually require a second artist.
A second artist is necessary for larger groups or parties with time constraints. Each additional artist carries a $100 fee. MAB Artistry will make arrangements concerning the planning, scheduling, and traveling for the artistry team. We will also provide a hair and makeup schedule with the assigned artists two (2) weeks before the wedding.

We use long-wearing, high-definition liquid, and cream foundations from pro brands such as Graftobian, Face Atelier, Makeup Forever, Becca, RCMA, and MAC Cosmetics. We also use waterproof mascara and eyeliner. We do have artists who specialize in airbrush makeup at an additional fee. False Lash Application is included in all our pricing.
We recommend that the trial be done two months prior to the wedding. However, if you feel more comfortable doing a trial as soon as possible or prior to booking your wedding date, we can accommodate your request. Please note that we will put a soft hold on your date until the time of trial, after which you will have 24 hours to book your wedding date.
Yes! We offer both virtual and in-person makeup lessons where we show you how to do a full face from start to finish. This lesson is perfect for makeup novices, the woman who wants to improve her makeup skills, needs feedback on how to use products she already owns and recommendations on what to buy. Yes! We travel on-site to provide hair and makeup services for interviews, engagement shoots, galas, and special events. Due to our high demand, we have a $500 minimum for advanced bookings on Fridays to Sundays from April through November. However, we do book individual appointments one month in advance depending on artists’ availability. Our artists use a professional-grade liquid makeup brush cleaner that is quick-drying and 99.99% antimicrobial disinfectant. Our brushes and kits are sanitized between uses and before working with each new client.
In the event either party is unable to perform its obligations under the terms of their signed Agreement because of acts of God, civil or military authority, national emergencies, work stoppages, fire, flood, catastrophe, insurrection, war, riot, or failure of communication or power supply reasonably beyond its control, or other causes reasonably beyond its control, MAB Artistry shall not be liable to the client for failure to perform its obligations. If the client chooses to terminate services, they will be refunded all monies, except for an administrative fee of $300 taken from the initial deposit. If the client postpones their wedding date, the initial deposit will be transferred to the new wedding date (up to a year from the original wedding date only), and any outstanding balances will still need to be paid. If the client postpones their wedding date more than once, a $75 rescheduling fee will be charged per instance. We want to maintain a safe work environment for our clients and our artists. Therefore, we require that you reschedule or cancel your service immediately if you or your party is experiencing flu-like symptoms. In addition, we reserve the right to discontinue services in the event of unsafe conditions for our artists.
Masks: Our artists are required to wear masks at all times. We also provide masks and gloves at our studio.
Sanitation: We require that our artists maintain sanitized kits, makeup brushes, and work stations. Hand sanitizer is provided throughout our Tysons Corner studio.
Guests: If you would like to bring a guest to accompany you during a trial appointment, we allow one guest and will require that they wear a mask during the entire trial to maintain safe social distancing.
