If you’re anything like me, summer is the perfect excuse to slow down just enough to get lost in a really good book. I love packing a book (or multiple on my kindle) when I’m traveling or going to the pool so I can get lost in another story. Whether you’re at the beach, by the pool, or squeezing in a few pages before bed, these are a few reads I’ve been loving lately and couldn’t not share with you!

2.Strangers by Belle Burden is such a powerful, can’t-put-it-down read, especially for women. It’s emotional, thought-provoking, and one of those books that stays with you long after you finish.
4.If you’ve seen the show, trust me – the book, The Deal by Elle Kennedy is even better! You get so much more depth with Garrett and Hannah, and their story just hits differently on the page.
5. Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings is extra special because it’s something you can read with your kids (maybe 5th grade and up), but it also opens the door to deeper conversations. It touches on themes of friendship, peer pressure, and doing the right thing (even when it’s hard), making it both engaging and meaningful to experience together.
7.I’ll be honest, The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese is long and not always an easy read. But it is so beautifully written and worth the time – one of those books that feels like an experience.
10.A forever favorite, (seriously my entire book club loved this one!) In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner was an obvious add to my summer reading list. It’s heartfelt, relatable, and such a good mix of emotion and real-life moments.
Let me know what you’re reading this summer! I’m always looking for my next read 🤍
