Quick Facts: Joie is from Fairfax, VA and has been working in the professional makeup artistry business since 2013. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and dancing and binging true crime documentaries while she crafts. She even designed her own wedding dress!
Beauty Background: Joie took an airbrush training course in 2021, enhancing her work and skills to create flawless looks. She has worked with various beauty companies and artists, bringing her expertise to service clients from all different backgrounds and beauty needs.

"I booked MAB for my November 2022 wedding, and I'm so glad I did. Short story: if you're thinking about it, go ahead and hire them. Ana (makeup) and Ester (hair) did an incredible job. They did a trial for both me and my mom to make sure we were on the same page about what we wanted. They even stayed late to let me try one extra hairstyle. The day of the wedding, they showed up prepared and on time and did hair and makeup for a big party (10-ish people) and everyone looked absolutely stunning! My hair and makeup stayed in place all night, which is very impressive because I was dancing pretty much nonstop once the reception started. "

"Working with MAB was a great experience from start to finish! Their office/administrative staff was extremely organized and communicative, and I never had to worry about my appointments, timeline, contract specificities, etc. I was able to flexibly schedule a hair and makeup trial at their beautiful studio, and they made sure to spend lots of time with me talking through what I wanted and then discussing my feedback. I was indecisive about how I wanted to do my hair, and they accommodated me to schedule multiple trials, even just a few weeks before my wedding. I had 11 women getting hair and makeup done for my wedding, and the team arrived early/on-time, worked through everyone efficiently, and made us all feel so relaxed and glamorous on wedding day. They preemptively scheduled in touch-up time in our day-of schedule. I got a ton of compliments on how beautiful everyone's hair and makeup were.
